Happy (?) 2 Months Baby!

Oh Judah I say happy (?) because apparently around week 8 is when babies get a little fussy and boy oh boy do you struggle going to sleep these days. It doesn't matter if it's bed time or nap time you just don't like it. Also we've accidentally gotten you dependent on that soother to fall asleep unless we just let you cry it out (which we do at night time). However you still have a wonderful demeanor the rest of the day and are a joy to play with and kiss and read stories to and take pictures of and with.

You are smiling and cooing like no body's business and it's adorable! I can't wait for more. Your head is SUPER round and cute and Daddy loves this photo cause he thinks you look like a hilarious balding old chubby man. Which is pretty funny.

You have so many adopted Aunts and Uncles among our friends and the Aunts and Uncles you have related by blood that love you and hold you and think you're pretty cute too.

It's crazy how much you've grown. Even though when most people see you they say something like "oh he's so tiny!" I feel like saying No WAY! You didn't see this guy when he was just born! Now I feel like you're a little boy, especially when I have to switch your position in my arms there is so much of you (even though still very much baby).

I love seeing you sleep. When you really are fast asleep in your bassinet, before I get into bed myself I can't help but sneak in real close to watch you. You breath SO quietly...until you're in the process of waking up. I say process cause it can be about 30 minutes of grunting and snorting before you're actually awake. Usually I just wake you before you cry because I know you're going to want to eat anyways. You are still eating about every 3 hours day and night. You do the odd 4 hour stint if you are super tired napping or your first shift going to bed...I should take advantage of these times to sleep, normally I don't. However my taste for coffee and frequency of drinking it has definitely been on the increase.

But you are totally. worth. it. all.
