A couple days ago I did my first post baby workout. It felt SO good to do something like that again. I was sore (am so currently still but not as much) so I know it won't take much for my body to feel it again though I'm sure if I can be more consistent it'll get back into the swing of things quickly too. It's amazing how weak the body can get when we don't use it! But it's even more amazing how forgiving it is when we start back up again, maybe not right away but I am so thankful for muscle memory.
As for the lactic acid build up I was able to work it out today on a walk with a new mommy friend that is literally a 2 minute walk away. It is so awesome to have gone through pregnancy with friends and now that our little one is here it seems so much easier to make new ones in our own community.
I also had the adventure of feeding him outside at a park on a bench. I've also learned that I hate using the hooter hider, it's so hot and awkward to get everything "attached" aka the baby to my boobie but I put it on after we are set up at least (mostly to hide my own naked love handles poking out if I'm not wearing a breastfeeding shirt). So we'll have to just be okay this summer with a few random strangers seeing a bit more of me than I'm used to if that's the case.
We love our little guy, he's getting so big and I'm pretty sure he smiled at me the other day when I was playing with him and making a fool of myself, he seemed to like that enough to give me a big old smile. His smiles are THE best. Big like Daddy's. I hope I can capture one some day soon on camera. But for now here's one of his serious face. Haha like serious mom stop posting pics of me without clothes! haha!

Aww so sweet - keep em coming! I always hated covering up too when feeding my babies and we didn't have those form fitting covers, just receiving blankets. But summer is here and skin is all around, what's to worry about? do it! Mom
