So Thankful for Time

I know this phase of my life won't ever happen again. I barely work, I'm pregnant and have no children to run after. I have a plethora of time on my hands. Some of it I've wasted. Some of it I've spent wisely. I've also learned not to feel guilty (though have to remind myself now and again) for not working like crazy to make as much money as possible before hand. Instead I've taken this time to take care of myself, our home and prepare for a busy time ahead. I know most women don't get this opportunity and I am so thankful to God that this is the situation I find myself in. I've been able to enjoy pregnancy without being overly tired or stressed. I've been able to prepare physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

That said, one of my projects was making freezer to crock pot meals. I think I'm finally finished. I love seeing my freezer like this;
Granted that is just the top shelf but it leaves us room to have food for "right away" as well. I also find that most of these meals take SO LITTLE TIME to prepare that even after kids I may have to designate one day a week to making 3-4 meals at a time for the week ahead...maybe even make it a "family" chore of chopping and such. It could be fun ;) Actually to be honest it's some of the most stress free cooking/prepping I've ever done and quite enjoy it.
Now we'll just have to wait and see if they taste good :S
